Registered Conveyancing Technician

Neil Priestley

Neil is a Registered Conveyancing Technician who manages a small caseload of residential property transactions whilst supporting the work of our conveyancing solicitors.

After studying at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne and graduating with a BSc Psychology, Neil worked in customer facing roles and management until joining our firm in 2017. Since then, he has successfully developed his role and continued with his studies.

In 2022, he successfully passed his exams with the Manchester College to attain the  CLC/SQA Diploma in Conveyancing Law and Practice Level 4 and became a Registered Conveyancing Technician (England and Wales).  This is prerequisite stepping stone for further study and experience to be able to qualify as a Licensed Conveyancer.

Conveyancing Technicians work closely with clients and other property professionals and can work anywhere that deals with the transfer of a title to property or land in a legal department headed by a qualified conveyancing lawyer.

Neil is currently conducting sales transactions, transfers of equity, stamp duty land tax reclaims and re-mortgages and can be contacted with any queries by calling our office on 0191 4555361 or emailing us at info@hannayslaw.co.uk
