Craig is a solicitor/notary public with our firm who specialises in residential conveyancing and is supervised by Kim Rainford.

He assists our clients with all aspects of residential conveyancing (sales/purchases), re-mortgaging, equity release, lease extensions and transfers.

Prior to Craig joining our firm in 2015 as a paralegal, he had worked in the same capacity for a short period in the areas of criminal defence law and conveyancing with another firm. Within a few months Craig started his training with us to become a solicitor.

To qualify as a solicitor Craig completed a recognised period of practical training with our firm and he enrolled as a Solicitor in May 2017.

Craig previously studied successfully for a Batchelor of Laws (Honours) Degree and Legal Practising Certificate (LPC) at Northumbria University. Shortly after joining Hannays Solicitors and Advocates Craig successfully completed a Master’s Degree in Law. His Master’s degree focused on sports law, specifically ‘The Legality of the Transfer Window in Football’.

Craig is also a Notary Public holding the postgraduate diploma in notarial practice awarded by UCL which he completed in 2020. He is able to provide the full range of notary services for businesses engaged in international trade, and for private individuals.
