Congratulations – Gavin Coates Solicitor

We wish to announce the happy news that from 1st January 2026, Gavin Coates became a solicitor.

Becoming a solicitor is a long journey of study and gaining training and experience and it is a big achievement to become a qualified solicitor.

Gavin joined our firm in June 2021 after graduating from Northumbria University in 2021 with a First Class Honours MLaw (Exempting) degree.

After working as a Paralegal in our conveyancing department where he gained valuable practical experience, he commenced a period of recognised training in 2024 and has now qualified as a solicitor on January 1st 2026.

Gavin is continuing to work within our conveyancing department  as this is the area of law in which he wishes to develop his practice.

Currently, Gavin is accepting conveyancing matters for sales, purchases, re-mortgages, transfers and other property related transactions.
