We have one current vacancy.
We have an opportunity for a part-time legal secretary to work 15 hours per week in our private client department working within a team headed by our Managing Partner on a six-month temporary contract.
The type of work we carry out in this department centres around wills, probate, trusts, domestic and commercial conveyancing, Court of Protection and other matters for clients that are privately funded.
Your role would require audio typing and following instructions on file management. You will have contact with our clients and be able to provide excellent client care.
The hours we are looking to cover are:
Monday/Tuesday/Thursday and Friday – 2.30pm to 5pm and Wednesday from midday to 5pm.
We cannot change these times as you would be working opposite another part-time member of staff.
Occasionally there would be the opportunity for overtime.
Salary would depend upon experience.
We feel that this position might suit an experienced private client legal secretary who is looking for part-time work, a experienced legal secretary who wishes to return to work after a break or a new legal graduate who is looking to build experience but can’t find a full-time role within a firm as yet.
If you are a new law graduate this would be a great development role for you as you would quickly learn about private client work alongside experienced fee earners and the experience gained may lead to other opportunities for you in the future. The hours may also allow you to spend time on further study.
If you feel this role may suit you please send your details for the attention of Margarita to mailto:firstname.lastname@example.org
Please apply in person as our posts will not be filled through Recruitment Agencies.
